Blackboard Vista accessed through myCommNet

Step 1

Go to myCommNet at (http://my.commnet.edu) OR click on the myCommNet button on the Tunxis web site.

Step 2

Enter your NetID and NetID password.

• New Students - refer to the “What is my initial NetID password?” page for further information.
• Returning Students - use the same NetID and NetID password you use to sign on to the College computers. Need to reset your forgotten password?

Step 3

Click on the “Blackboard Vista” icon located in the upper right-hand side of your browsers window

Step 4

Click on the course you want to enter.
You will be automatically directed to your course within Blackboard Vista.

Blackboard Vista Orientation Resources for Students

To help you become familiar with using Blackboard Vista, a Blackboard Vista Student Orientation course will show up in your list of courses once you have logged in.

Blackboard Vista Tutorials for Students

Although these tutorials may refer to Blackboard Vista as WebCT, it is the current Blackboard Vista system they are demonstrating. There is no sound in these tutorials.
