Part Time Lecturers – Credit Courses
Tunxis Community College is developing an APPLICANT POOL for possible part-time lecturers, educational assistant positions, and contractual services, which may become available in the next academic year. The following list identifies programs and disciplines offered at the college. Instructors willing to teach on-line courses are encouraged to apply.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in subject area. Two years of college teaching experience and/or related work experience preferred.
COMPENSATION: $3,888 to $4,185 per three (3) credit course*. *Pay rate may be subject to change

PART-TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTS AND CONTRACTUAL SERVICES
The following are examples of the types of positions and services that may be needed during the year. Academic Support Center Aides in subject areas such as Math, English, Reading, Writing, Testing Specialists and Assistants, Lab Assistants, Computer Specialists, Dental Hygiene/Assisting Education Assistants, and attending Dentists.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Hours per week and salary vary depending on the requirements of the position.
COMPENSATION: The fee for contractual services varies depending on the nature of the service.
