Placement Testing
Once an application has been submitted, applicants should contact the Academic Support Center at 860.255.3570 to schedule their ACCU-PLACER Placement Assessment. This assessment is required of all incoming students. Exceptions to this requirement include those students who wish to attend on a part-time basis and who do not plan to take an English or math course, or a course that has a math or English prerequisite. Transfer students and students who have taken SAT English and SAT Math may also be exempt from this requirement. See Exemption Request Form. Transfer students must provide an unofficial transcript if they wish to be exempt from placement testing.

Please call 860.255.3570 for a reservation (seating is limited). Testing takes place in the Academic Support Center. Most students complete the test in approximately 2 hours. An Application for Admission must be submitted to the Admissions Office one week prior to placement testing. For more information call the Admissions Office at 860.255.3555.
