The Criminal Justice program is designed to instill students with a love of learning, a sensitivity to civic responsibility and community service, and an appreciation for human rights in a multicultural society.

Law enforcement is among the areas of study in high demand identified by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). According to a 2005 AACC survey, law enforcement was the second most sought-after program among colleges surveyed.
