The Criminal Justice program is designed to instill students with a love of learning, a sensitivity to civic responsibility and community service, and an appreciation for human rights in a multicultural society.

A Rewarding Career

Law enforcement is among the areas of study in high demand identified by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). According to a 2005 AACC survey, law enforcement was the second most sought-after program among colleges surveyed.

At Tunxis, you will gain skills needed to move ahead in the field of criminal justice. Our graduates are employed in many agencies nationwide, including U.S. Border Patrol; Federal Protection Service; U.S. Secret Service; Uniform Division; U.S. Bureau of Prisons; CT Department of Correction; CT State Police; and many local Police Departments.
