Essential Job Skills & Career Development Course

This 14-hour course is designed to aid students in successfully transitioning into their chosen careers. Emphasis will be placed on the development of a resume, essential interview skills, and soft skills to give students the tools to secure and retain employment. Students will engage in mock interviews to develop these skills. Guest speakers will cover topics such as “what makes a successful employee” and “how to ensure a good interview.” Additional material to be covered will include team building, conflict resolution in the workplace and providing quality customer service. Note: Bring USB drive and present resume to class.

Required for successful completion of the C.N.A., Certified Sterile Processing Technician, Veterinary Assistant,  Certified Phlebotomy Technician and Certified Pharmacy Technician Programs.
