Tunxis Community College in Farmington will hold an Open House on May 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the 600 Building.

All are welcome to tour the campus and learn more about Tunxis degree programs, financial aid, community scholarships and transfer opportunities. Faculty and Tunxis students will be available to answer questions.

On-the-spot acceptances will be granted for those who bring proof of high school completion, immunization records, and a completed application.

Central Connecticut State University, UConn, University of Saint Joseph, Albertus Magnus, Bay Path College and other college representatives will be available to answer questions about transfer.

Tunxis offers over 60 associate degree and certificate programs that prepare students for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs and employment in areas with industry need, including Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Dental Hygiene, Early Childhood Education, Engineering Science, Graphic Design, Honors Computer Science/Mathematics, and Liberal Arts and Sciences. Many programs offer seamless transfer to the CT State Universities and guaranteed admission to the University of Connecticut. The college also has transfer agreements with private colleges and universities.
