The Delta Beta Chapter of Kappa Beta Delta (KBD) at Tunxis Community College in Farmington announced the names of those students who have accepted membership in the business honor society. They were formally recognized on April 29 at the chapter’s inaugural induction ceremony.

KBD is an international honor society for students who are enrolled in colleges that are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The honor society was established to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment in the pursuit and completion of studies in business, management and administration culminating in associate degree conferral. To be eligible for induction, a student must have completed 30 credit hours toward their associate degree and have attained a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or better.

“It is exciting and very special as a teacher to watch your students being honored for their hard work and achievement,” said Tunxis Professor David L. Lardie, faculty advisor for the honor society.
