Tunxis Community College will host sessions this fall for those who need help filing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Prospective and current students are welcome to attend with their parents.

• Personalized sessions are available by appointment on the following Fridays from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Please email [email protected] or call 860.773.1422 to reserve a spot: Oct. 27, Nov. 3, Nov. 17, Dec. 1, Dec. 15 and Jan. 5.

• General sessions are available on the following dates: Nov. 9, 1 p.m. & 6 p.m.; Nov. 13, 6 p.m.; and Nov. 15, 9 a.m. & 6 p.m. All sessions will be held in the 300 Building Computer Lab except the evening session on Nov. 15, which will be in 200 Building, Room 203. No reservation is required for these sessions

Staff from the Financial Aid Services Office at Tunxis will be available to help those with questions about filing their FAFSA information and renewals. For information on what to bring to the session, see tunxis.edu/fafsa-help. A map of campus is available at tunxis.edu/map.

Tunxis Community College is now accepting applications for spring semester, which starts Jan. 17. From fine arts, health, and technology to liberal arts & sciences programs, Tunxis offers over 60 associate degrees and certificates, providing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare students for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs and employment in areas with industry need. Tunxis is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 in Farmington.
