Tunxis Community College will hold a Saturday Online Registration event on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., for new and continuing students to get help with advising, course registration, and financial aid for spring semester.

Online accelerated winter session classes at Tunxis start on Dec. 27, and spring semester classes begin Jan. 22, with a mix of on-campus, online and hybrid course options.

Prior to the event, prospective students who have not yet applied for admission should apply online, fill out an online placement form, and make a virtual advising appointment. Required documents and unofficial college transcripts should also be uploaded using the college’s application portal.

New and returning students who register before Jan. 8 will be entered into a drawing for a $500 tuition waiver and bookstore scholarship.

The college offers seamless transfer pathways through its Guaranteed Admission program with UConn and Tunxis Transfer Ticket associate degrees that provide seamless transfer and a low-cost pathway to a bachelor’s degree at the Connecticut State Universities and Charter Oak State College.
