Tunxis Community College will hold a Saturday “Enroll in a Day” walk-in event on April 2 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., for new and continuing students to get help with admissions, advising, course registration, financial aid and student IDs for fall semester.

It’s also an opportunity to learn about PACT, Connecticut’s debt-free community college program. Prospective students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, apply and register for fall semester classes by July 15 for priority consideration. For eligibility information and details on PACT, visit www.ct.edu/pact.

Prior to attending the event, prospective students who have not yet applied to Tunxis should complete an admissions application online at tunxis.edu/apply. For more information on what to bring, visit tunxis.edu/enrollmentday.

Some of the college’s 70 associate degrees and certificates include advanced manufacturing, business, cybersecurity, paralegal studies, data science, psychology, and an energy management program that offers multiple full scholarships each semester. Among these are 23 Transfer Tickets—degrees that offer seamless transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at the CT state universities and Charter Oak State College.

Three summer sessions start in June and July, and fall semester classes begin Aug. 25. For more information or assistance, email [email protected].
