Welcome back!
Welcome to the Guided Pathways Advising Department at Tunxis!
Whether you are taking your first course with us or approaching graduation, we are here to help you achieve your goals! Our staff is ready to assist you with:
- Academic and Career Planning
- Registering for Courses
- Connecting you with Support Services
- Aligning your Academic Major with your Goals
- Planning your next steps after Tunxis, and more!
After you have registered for your first course at Tunxis, you will be assigned to a Guided Pathways Advisor (GP Advisor/GPA) who will be paired with you throughout your academic journey. Together, you will make sure that you stay on track towards a timely graduation and that you are supported beyond the classroom as you navigate your program. We all experience life events while pursuing our education that can make things challenging, but we are here to help you navigate those hurdles! You can expect to hear from your Guided Pathways Advisor regularly, as we want to make sure that as your goals change or become clearer that we are having the conversations necessary to help you achieve them.
We are located in Bidstrup Hall and if you haven’t had a chance to schedule an appointment with your GP Advisor yet, I encourage you to make an appointment today! We look forward to meeting you!
Best,
Jennifer Barry, Ed.D.
