Charity Art Silent Auction

In celebration of the college’s 50th Anniversary and the 13th Anniversary of the Barnes-Franklin Gallery at Tunxis Community College, a special exhibition with over 30 pieces of art from past exhibitors will be on display in the gallery.

Most of the artists have also generously donated pieces that will be available for bid at the silent auction. The reception for the event, “An Evening of Art – Celebrating Tunxis 50th Anniversary,” will be the central focus and culminating event celebrating the college’s milestone with champagne and wine tastings from vendors of Valley Wines in Farmington. Proceeds from the silent art auction will benefit student scholarships and programs at Tunxis Community College.

Please note the event is free and open to the public. An RSVP is required and a donation in lieu of the cost of a ticket in support of the Tunxis Foundation is encouraged. Attendees will receive a commemorative Tunxis 50th Anniversary stemless wine glass.
