Spring 2022 Commencement Updates

Masks are strongly encouraged on campus. If you or guests are experiencing symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19, you will not be able to attend commencement.

Tunxis will hold its 51st Commencement on Wednesday, May 25 with an abbreviated in-person (rain date May 26) conferral on campus in regalia, with the opportunity to have a professional photo taken. Each graduate may bring up to 8 guests to the event.

All graduate candidates have received an email with request to RSVP for Commencement by May 6. The Records Office will send an email to each graduate with arrival time by May 10. If you did not receive your email with the time, please email Magaly Correa at [email protected].

Regalia will be available for all graduates at our Bookstore the first week of May up until the day of Commencement.

Greetings from program coordinators, CEO, Regional President, Valedictorian, and Salutatorian will be available online, as well as a list of each graduate candidate’s degrees and certificates.

If you are not attending the ceremony, diplomas will be available the next day at the Records Office.

Tunxis Community College offers three conferral dates. The conferral date pertains to the date students will have met all program requirements for their degree/certificate.
