2022 Summer Bridge Program

“Tunxis Summer Bridge” is a free college readiness program designed to familiarize incoming first-year students with campus life and college expectations.

By participating in this program, you will be exposed to a variety of best practices to help ensure your successful transition to college in the fall, including: time management skills, career exploration, & a full introduction to Tunxis’ resources.

One Week On-Campus Program
Where: Tunxis Community College, 271 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, CT 06092

Dates (select one week): August 8-12 or August 15-19, 2022

Days & Times: Monday – Friday • 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Eligibility: This program have been expanded to include 2022 high school graduates from Avon, Berlin, Bristol, EC Goodwin, Farmington, New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Simsbury, Southington, Terryville and Wolcott public high schools, who are accepted to and attend Tunxis Community College in the Fall 2022 semester.

Entire application process must be completed by July 26, 2022 for program consideration.

2. Complete the Tunxis Placement Form.  www.tunxis.edu/placement
3. Complete and submit the 2022 Tunxis Summer Bridge Application by July 26, 2022.  https://forms.office.com/r/LNzKjwkNum
4. Register for Fall classes at Tunxis prior to July 26, 2022.
