1. Participate in all of your classes. Failure to participate within the first two weeks of the semester will result in you being withdrawn and responsible for any fees.
2. Confirm your financial aid and/or payment status:

• • If you receive Financial Aid, check your Financial Aid status. For financial aid questions: tx-finaid@tunxis.edu
  • If you do not receive Financial Aid, please make a payment online. For billing questions: tx-cashiering@txcc.commnet.edu

3. Make sure you are prepared for the first day of classes:

• • Order your books online

4. Sign up for New & Transfer Student Orientation
5. Spend time learning about myCommNet, Tunxis’ online student portal to:

• • Access your Tunxis email (where you will receive all future college communication!)
  • Check your financial aid award package and bill
  • View college announcements
  • Register to receive emergency alerts
  • View your grades, schedule, unofficial transcript, and request an official E-transcript
  • Access your classes through Blackboard
