Tunxis invites the campus and community to “The Science of Violence: Preventing Violence Through Research & Education,” with Dr. Jeremy Richman on April 15 at 10 a.m. in Founders Hall. Richman and his wife formed The Avielle Foundation in memory of their daughter Avielle, who was one of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims. The mission of The Avielle Foundation is to prevent violence by fostering brain health research, education, and policy; and community development, engagement, and responsibility.
